Branson Ellis, a senior at Stephen F. Austin, won the men's invitational pole vault with a personal-best 19-0.75 (5.81m) clearance on his first attempt at the Tyson Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Ellis elevated to the No. 3 indoor collegiate competitor this season and improved on his status as the No. 12 all-time indoor NCAA vaulter after clearing 19-0.25 (5.80m) in 2020 in New Mexico.
